ASAHI
For this project I wanted to capture the refreshing taste of Asahi beer and present it in a visually striking manner. Using motion-controlled robots, I was able to move the camera at high speeds while remaining extremely precise. Coupled with high frame rates and liquid flying around (it was messy) we got some very interesting shots.
As usual the motion was created using my custom-made robot, who still doesn’t have a name. You can see more in the BTS photos at the bottom. I’ve recently added a new rotary stage (rotating table) which can comfortably turn 150kg! Looking forward to using that in the future!
HAIG CLUB
This was a huge passion project for me. I wanted this video to be a visual bombardment led by the high-paced classical music track. Celebrating the Haig Club bottle by showcasing it’s different elements and ending on a high-key shot of the bottle and serve.
The shoot involved the creation of three videos and three photographic assets. The videos were all created using my MOCO rig which allowed me to get some truly unique shots. I loved this shoot from beginning to end and look forward to doing more MOCO projects. FYI, the MOCO is a software controlled robot which moves the camera. I’ve added some behind the scenes images from the shoot so you can see what it’s all about.

Social campaign for Made.com cyber week 2022. Made.com went into administration weeks after this job was completed. I was devastated to hear this and my heart goes out to all the talented full-time staff which Made employed.
The job itself was an absolute pleasure. I was brought in to shoot and work alongside production company Patch to provide post-production services. On the day, we jumped in once the stills were complete and had half a day to produce these videos. Shot on the Red V-Raptor with stunning Cooke S4 glass.

Having built my own MOCO, I love to use it! If you’re not familiar with motion control video, imagine controlling the camera using computers and robots. I created this high-energy, eye catching video over the course of two days in the office.

Working in conjunction with production company Patch London, we were approached by Ealing Gin to produce this campaign video. Once again the MOCO was in full swing, check out the BTS video to see it in action. From Liquid pours and camera rolls, to extreme close ups and smooth tracks, the MOCO excels. Plus, you operate it with an Xbox control.
