For this project, I wanted to capture the refreshing taste of Asahi beer in a fun and visually striking way. Using motion-controlled robots, I was able to move the camera at high speeds while keeping everything incredibly precise. With high frame rates and liquid flying everywhere (it did get pretty messy!), we ended up with some brilliant shots that really brought the beer to life.
As always, I used my custom-built motion control robot—who, by the way, still doesn’t have a name! It’s been fantastic to see how much creative freedom it gives me, allowing me to achieve shots that would be nearly impossible to do by hand. Whether it’s fast movements, smooth tracking, or perfectly timed splashes, the robot makes it all happen seamlessly.
